KAREN - Book a 1:1 - @ktavalos.yoga
I’m a Los Angeles-based yoga teacher whose approach is rooted in curiosity, intentional movement, and the connection between mind, body, and spirit. As a Cambodian-Mexican woman, I value creating accessible and supportive spaces where students can meet themselves exactly where they are.
Influenced by structural vinyasa, traditional vinyasa, hatha, and raja yoga, my teaching emphasizes thoughtful sequencing, breath, and sustainable movement practices. I incorporate props and modifications to support a wide range of bodies and experiences while honoring yoga’s roots with care and respect.
My classes balance grounded-ness and play, encouraging curiosity and exploration over perfectionism. Whether in private 1:1 sessions, group classes, or restorative practices, I hope students leave feeling more connected to themselves and more at ease in their bodies.
Chelsea - @oftheseayoga
Michelle J. - @flowwithjasso
For nearly two decades, yoga has been my anchor—offering grounding, stability, healing, and a way to meet life with more ease. I’m passionate about helping students fuse the inner and outer practices of yoga in ways that genuinely reduce suffering and support daily life.
My teaching approach emphasizes longevity: biomechanically sound, structurally aligned, intentional movement — prioritizing healthy technique over performative shapes. I also love supporting older adults and people with mobility considerations, making the ancient art of yoga truly welcoming to everyone.
Expect clear cues, thoughtful pacing, and a practice that meets you exactly where you are, then helps you grow—safely, steadily, and with heart.
LYNDSAY - @lyndsasana
My yoga and pilates journey began in the late 90s after a car accident. Well-versed in the experience of life with an ailing body (hypermobility-related injuries, anxiety disorder, endometriosis, hysterectomy...), accessibility is the top priority in my classes. You can spend the whole hour in Savasana if you like-- because knowing what your body needs is yoga.
To me, yoga isn't about perfection (boring!) but cultivating vitality. I teach functional, foundational poses to increase stability and balance both on and off the mat. Some classes include a brief sound healing session (noted in descriptions). See you soon!
Michelle H. - @michelle.huber.5015
I began practicing yoga in college over 30 years ago and have been inspired by it ever since. Over the years, yoga has been many things to me—relaxation, movement, challenge, connection, calm, and spiritual practice. What I love most is that yoga meets each person exactly where they are and can mean something different at every stage of life.
I believe yoga has the power to ground us in calm while also encouraging us to grow and move with strength and intention. My teaching is rooted in the idea that yoga is a way to nurture both body and soul, bringing harmony to the mind, body, and spirit.
Whether you are stepping onto the mat for the very first time or have practiced for years, my classes are welcoming, supportive, and accessible to all.
DAVID - @nevers.wave
